Firoz wins inaugural spot at Tsai CITY Startup Accelerator

We are excited to announce that we were selected as part of the inaugural cohort for the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale's (CITY) Startup and Non-profit Accelerator! Tsai CITY's vision is to cultivate interdisciplinary solutions driven by interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration. CITY’s mission resonates with our vision for Afghanistan and our approach to achieving prosperity for our students. We aim to provide world-class instruction in Mathematics, English, and technology to tackle the scarcity of opportunities for Afghan students in the global biosphere. CITY’s commitment to bridging the innovation gap between organizations on Yale’s campus, from Dwight Hall to the Center for Engineering, Innovation, and Design, will be crucial to our success.

CITY’s Startup Accelerator Program provides Firoz with access to financial resources as well as an extensive network of mentors. These mentors, who include a personal mentor, Mentors-in-Residence and Innovation Advisors, will help us develop our ideas and iterate for more refined solutions. The initial funding will be vital to improving programming and direct service to our students in Afghanistan. We are thrilled to spend the next six weeks embarking on new initiatives and celebrating the successes that come along with this support.
